Early in 2006 I took a departure from my natural musical habitat when I agreed to be involved with co-writing a musical. This was the brainchild of good friend and band-mate Katrina Mason. She had been asking me and Phill (her husband) to help for a while and I seem to recall we agreed while under the influence at a party...

Following much hard work, pain, anguish and also a great deal of fun 'Mmm Mmm' the musical was successfully staged to a run of full houses in a provincial theatre. In fact, we ended up selling the dress rehearsal due to demand. This was also, in no small way, down to a fantastic cast!

We also recorded the 18 songs for a soundtrack CD, which went down very well at the shows and continues to sell through the 'Mmm Mmm' website and also top musical theatre outlet Dress Circle.

One of the tracks, 'Tomorrow', was also featured on Elaine Paige's Radio 2 programme.

All in all, a mammoth (some would say Unbelievably Marvellous) feat!
